There are many ways to say “thank you.” A simple thank you can make someone’s day a little brighter. Here are 20+ creative ways to say thank you.

January is a time where a lot of people (myself included) reflect on the past year – events, people, triumphs, failures…everything! I feel very grateful for this last year, as we’ve been able to spend a lot of time with both of our families.

Two of Forrest’s siblings got married (one in August and one in October.) Almost the entire Clark family were at both, except for a brother-in-law who couldn’t take time away from medical school. We also spent Christmas with them in Myrtle Beach, SC, which was a great time.

We were also able to have several gatherings with my side of the family – a family reunion in Utah, a few days at Christmas time in Colorado, and then a few other times throughout the year.

Most years probably won’t be like this, so it’s important to me to try and let those we care about know that we are thinking about them. There are many ways – both small and big – to do this. A text, phone call, Skyping, etc. One of the best things I think you can do is just to tell someone thank you for the impact they have had in your life.

A simple thank you goes a long way. While I don’t think it’s necessary to make a grand production out of saying thank you to someone, sometimes it’s fun to shake it up a little bit. I thought I’d share a few creative ways to say thank you. I think anyone would appreciate these kind gestures.

First off, I wanted to share a little thank you idea I recently came up with. We took some family pictures while we were at the beach, so I made this little Canvas art piece out of the picture. I wanted to make it a full canvas print, but the picture was a really strange size, so I ended up just painting a pretty border around it. So easy – all you really need is stretched canvas and matte mod podge!)
