First of all, their Easter basket selection is pretty good! They might not be the largest in size but they are all darling and can definitely fit a lot of items.

They typically have a great selection in store – but you can always go online as well if you’d rather. This is a good option if you need to buy in bulk – you can browse that selection here.

Here are some of the different kinds of Easter baskets that are often in stock at the Dollar Tree:

They also sell plastic Easter grass– so be sure to pick some of that up too.

What to Put in an Easter Basket

So what should you even put in an Easter basket?! There’s always a lot of debate on what you should do – and really, it’s up to you to decide how much or little you want to do for your family members.

We try to keep things pretty simple around our house (hence why the Dollar Tree is our go-to spot!). I don’t think you have to spend a lot of money for a fun gift.

Here are some $1 Stuffer Ideas that you can almost always find at the Dollar Tree.

  • Plastic easter eggs – The Dollar Tree has so many styles. You can stuff these with jelly beans, little pieces of candy, etc.
  • Candy – there are so many different kinds of Easter candy – jelly beans, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, peeps…definitely one of the best places to get candy, I think!
  • Crayons
  • Pencils
  • Little toys
  • Coloring Books
  • Puzzles
  • Candles
  • Erasers
  • Toothbrush
  • Stuffed animals
  • Bubbles

Make sure you go into your local store to see what they have. There are always items that I find that I never would have thought of on my own – especially seasonal items. They always seem to have something new every year!

And now we’ve put together some ideas for different themed baskets and what stuffer ideas you could put in them for the enjoyment of the recipient.

  1. Love your Dollar Tree posts! We have one right by our house, and I never thought to check it out until I read one of your posts. I found some great stuff for my son’s birthday party and paid much less than if I had bought it elsewhere. Thanks for the great ideas!!
