Babzanne Barker is a seasoned writer who lives in Littleton, Colorado, where she raised her six children. She was raised in Idaho, spending her teenage years in Lewiston. Her greatest joy comes from her family – and especially from her 22 grandchildren. She graduated from Brigham Young Univeristy with a Bachelors Degree in Language Arts Education.
When she went to graduate, the counselor had never heard of it, but she kept the planning book from her freshman year, so he approved her graduation – she may have been the only person to ever receive that degree, which include speech, journalism, english and secondary education. She taught high school English for a year before writing for the Desert News, Music and the Spoken Word, and the New Era for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She has spent the last 40+ years of her life being the matriarch and glue of her family, as well as working for her husband’s tax preparation business. She looks forward to what lies ahead with retirement and hopes to travel and spend more time with her family.
