One of my favorite experiences when I was pregnant with Jack was getting a 3D/4D ultrasound. It wasn’t something we were planning on, as they can be expensive, but we were participating in a pregnancy-related study at the time, and it included one free of charge. Seeing the video of my sweet baby was something I won’t ever forget.
On Forrest’s side of the family, we have four babies being born this year! It’s really fun. The same thing happened when I was pregnant with Jack, but it was my three sisters and I who we were all due within a few months of each other. It’s been so fun seeing those four little kiddos grow up together, and I’m excited for this baby to have three cousins close in age to him as well. Forrest’s sister, Doris, is due just a few weeks before us, and we are so excited. She and her husband Corey are such a wonderful couple, and we can’t wait to see them become parents.
I had the opportunity to do a review of Fetal Fotos in American Fork, Utah, and since I no longer live in Utah, I arranged for Doris and Corey to have the experience there instead. They went in last week, and they were nice enough to share some fun pictures and a detailed description of their experience. I have heard great things about this company, and if you are looking for a 3D/4D ultrasound in Utah, this is a great option. Here’s what Doris and Corey thought!
We had a great experience today at Fetal Fotos. We took the bus and it was easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew who we were as soon as we arrived and quickly started the appointment. The facility was very clean and Corey commented on how good it smelled. The bed for the ultrasound was soft and comfortable more than at a regular doctor’s office. They had a nice large screen that you could see everything the ultrasound technician was seeing.
Our package included 8-10 black and white photos. A CD of pictures (ours has 69) and a DVD of the entire session. They focused mainly pictures of the face and hands. We tried a few of the feet, but they weren’t in a good position especially since we are trying to avoid knowing the gender. The staff was very sweet and seemed to enjoy seeing our baby just as much as we did even though they do it all day. I mentioned to her that I thought she seemed to really enjoy her job.
It didn’t feel rushed at all. We had a full thirty minute visit. After our 30 minutes we stepped out into a gift shop area where we were left 2 chocolate chocolate chip cookies and cold bottles of water to enjoy while they printed our pictures. There is a 15% off discount in the store on your first visit. We were also given a pregnancy and infant guide book along with an Enfamil starter kit and insulated bag for storing breast milk.
We loved the experience! If people have the money and want to spend it then it is a great company to work with. They do massages as well with many of their packages.
