The Best Gift Ideas for Latter-day Saints
It can be hard to find the perfect gift for the ones we love. When choosing a gift I typically think about what they like to do, how they enjoy spending their time and basically try and find a gift that they would love!
But it can still be difficult!
When it comes to someone who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints there are tons of Christian gift options available.
Today I have rounded up some of my favorite LDS centered gifts for all ages. Hopefully you will find a gift below that is perfect for your LDS friend or family member.
Mormon Christmas Gifts
Our Picnic Tree Scriptural Builder Sets
We were sent these adorable sets last year, and they are so fun. Jack LOVES to build with these types of blocks, and it was fun for him to get the Nativity and Nephi and the Broken Bow Set.
Admittedly, I’m not very good at using a paper planner, but I do really like my “Mormon Mom planner“. This company creates planners specifically for LDS women, but they also offer ones that are non-denominational.
I really do love the LDS-based one though. It is so much more than a planner, and I think any women would love it.
Give someone you love the gift of a subscription tie box or shop their vast collection of ties, socks, cuff links, shirts and more!
This is such a good movie to watch as a family. The description from Amazon goes as follows: Kennedy Hansen is a 15-year-old girl with three goals: drive a car, date boys, and be a cheerleader. Even though she contracts a terrible disease, Kennedy is able to triumph over her obstacles and make her dreams come true.
Everyone who has seen this movie raves about it! Even the storyline is sad there is so much hope and goodness in it as well.
Book of Mormon Family Study Guide
I have been trying to find new ways to study the scriptures, especially with my family. I was really excited when I saw this family study guide – it looks SO wonderful, and I actually have one coming to me in the mail. I think any family would appreciate this.

This amazing set of prints is available from Salty Prints by Gina on Etsy and is completely convenient because you simply pay for the download and print at a photo store of your choice. She sells several other beautiful prints and she is very affordable.

If you haven’t heard Nashville Tribute, you are seriously missing out. They’ve released quite a few albums now, and we love all of them. I think my favorites are “Joseph” and the Christmas CD, but here are the other ones available:
A perfect gift for any toddler! Bring it to Sacrament Meeting, in the car, or use as a quiet Sunday activity. There are also make quiet book patterns available for anyone who is crafty.
We absolutely LOVE these books. They make the Book of Mormon a little easier to understand for small children. Jack has been read them many times, and I honestly think he might know the scripture stories better than I do.
Missionary Memories
Have a missionary recently come home from their mission? This is a GREAT way to preserve their memories and spiritual experiences. Missionary Memories creates beautiful hardback books that were designed specifically for the LDS person in mind. Here is our full review.
I love having my own hymn book. There is something nostalgic about being able to open it up and use an actual book rather than my mobile device. I bet you’ll find that others feel the same way, too and would enjoy their own hymn book to keep in their church bag.
Ites Books
These are available for the Book of Mormon and the Bible. Each page features a different figure from these books, and they give a description of who they are, what they did, and what their importance was. There is also a family home evening lesson for each page. They are a wonderful resource for adults and children alike.
This is the official songbook for Primary. It is great for Church and home use.
This darling pillow case is one among many you can find on Etsy.
Willow Tree Nativity Set
These aren’t LDS-specific, but they are pretty beautiful! These sets are sold at Deseret Book as well as online. They can be a little pricey, so a collection is often built up over time. But they make for a beautiful gift. My mom keeps her set up all year long.
This is a great gift for anyone who attends the temple or works in the temple.
Subscription to Deseret Bookshelf Plus
Deseret Bookshelf Plus was launched earlier this year, and it’s a great little service. It gives you access to thousands of eBooks and audiobooks that are sold through Deseret Book.
