Camping Tips and Tricks
Some of my favorite memories are when my family went camping together when I was younger. I love the smell of a campfire and the feel of the fresh air! Now that I’m married and a mother I have started making new memories with my children and husband.
But no doubt about it- camping is a lot of work!
Camping gear alone is a lot to remember- then add food and games, and activities- and it all adds up. It’s almost enough to make you want to stay home- almost. But all know the effort is well worth it in the end.
Luckily, we have rounded up some of the best camping tips and tricks out there to make your camping experience a little easier. From packing and preparing to sleeping under the stars we have you covered with great ideas that will help you along the way.
Kammok is known for their amazing hammocks. They design technical and functional hammock camping gear, for every adventure. Their vision is to become a platform to elevate camp in every way possible, from the gear and apparel created to the stories of life change that we celebrate around the campfire.
Kammok designs technical outdoor gear to elevate your camp. Strong and versatile, Kammok gear goes everywhere you do–on the ground or in the air. They sell camping gear from hammocks, to shelters to sleeping bags and blankets- as well as everything in between.
If you haven’t heard of Woofem sticks you are missing out!
I was first introduced to these by my husband who learned about it from a friend while they were on a camp out with a group of Boy Scouts.
A Woof’em Stick is an outdoor cooking device to make tasty treats for your self, family and friends. A Woof’em is the tasty treat that is made by putting dough on the end and cooking till golden brown. After buying ready bake biscuit dough you wrap the dough over the metal cup and then hold over your campfire. Once it’s toasted you stuff the inside with anythin you like!
We’ve done pudding, whipped cream, bananas, pie filling, cheese and diced ham- the possibilities are endless.
